Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the MediSynth platform. MediSynth provides deterministic synthetic patient cohorts for testing, demo, and integration workflows. All generated data is synthetic and must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment. Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Effective date: July 18, 2026. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Acceptable use

Use MediSynth lawfully and responsibly.

You agree to use MediSynth only for lawful purposes, such as product development, testing, demonstrations, and integration work. You may not use the platform to generate content that violates applicable law, infringes rights, or attempts to create data that could be mistaken for real PHI. You must not submit, upload, or otherwise input real patient records or PHI into the platform; MediSynth is intended for synthetic data only.

Accounts

Keep your account secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Your content and ownership

You own your data; we own the platform.

You retain all rights to the cohort specifications and configuration you create, and you are free to use the synthetic cohorts and exports you generate for any lawful purpose, including in your own products and testing. MediSynth and its software, models, documentation, and branding remain our property. We only process your account and usage data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans and metered usage.

Some features require a paid subscription or metered usage. Fees are billed according to the plan you select. You may cancel or downgrade through the console; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Synthetic data disclaimer

Not for clinical use.

All patient cohorts, records, and clinical content generated by MediSynth are fully synthetic. They do not represent real individuals and must not be used for clinical decision-making, diagnosis, treatment, or regulatory submissions. We make no warranty that synthetic data is fit for clinical use.

Service availability and warranties

Provided on an "as is" basis.

We work to keep MediSynth reliable and publish live availability on our status page, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that synthetic data is suitable for any specific use.

Limitation of liability

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MediSynth shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, non-payment, or other conduct that harms the service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time through the console.

Changes

Terms may be updated.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
